Has Humanity Evolved Over Time?
If you think about this question technically, then of course we have evolved. We've developed new tools, new medication, and different types of government. But at the root of it all, socially we act the same towards one another. Back then, groups of people were formed and together they lived and fought with other groups of people. Today is no different, we formed different countries and still wage war on each other, just on a larger scale.

Is there a difference between a warrior and a hero?
By definition a warrior is a brave or experienced soldier or fighter. A hero is a person, typically a man, who is admired for courage or noble qualities. Really though, a warrior can become a hero and a hero can evolve from a warrior, so technically they are similar, but not the same.

Should the Director of the CIA have resigned?
Based on just a few reports on David Petraeus, it seems as the he was dignified and well respected for his work in the military. Seeing as how he was also a general, that shows he had great talent for being a leader. For having 37 years of service in military affairs, even Obama said in a statement that Petraeus had provided "extraordinary
service to the United States for decades" and had given a lifetime of
service that "made our country safer and stronger." If Petraeus feels that he isn't fit to lead, then that's his decision, and everyone should respect him for being honest about it, especially since he was only director for a year. If he was so distinguished and professional though, I think he should have stayed in command since we need more men with his skills.
If a hero’s motivation is not selfless, is he still a hero?
If a hero's motivation is not selfless, then he isn't a hero. Regardless of whether a character follows the paths of the hero's journey, he still must have the necessary characteristics of a hero. He must be brave, strong in both will and mind, and he has to be loyal. First and foremost, the character must have the qualities of a hero, because without them, he is on the same level as the crowd of everyday people.
Christmas Item Representation
The one gift that I received for Christmas that represents my two week winter break, would have to be a pair of apple headphones. The reason for this is because during Christmas night I caught the flew and for the next 4 days, I remained bed ridden with the headphones in my ears listening to music. Those four days sum up the extent of the excitement for most of my holiday. At least the headphones sounded good.
Why Should We Study War Through Literature?
War through literature gives us more insight about the deeper emotions that unfold during or after the war. Rather than giving us a text book description of the names of battles and who the victor was, this type of literature helps readers to better understand the stories within the war. It also allows us to discover underlying meanings such as, why we wage war, based on the emotions displayed, actions taken, and the after effects of the war.
